Household Technology

Posted by NEON725 Oct. 26, 2007 @ 4:51 PM EDT

So we all want to take over the world, but only have access to household materials. NO PROBLEM. By following this guide, you can make devices to rival those of sci-fi movies, all by making a few trips to radio shack or the hardware store.

I will start by making a flamethrower. Please keep in mind that I must not blow my cover, and am unable to contruct this weapon myself. Therefore these designs are UNTESTED. I ask my dear viewers to contruct my ultimate weapons in my stead, and reply with design flaws until I get it right.

Ingrediants:
Spackling Gun
Empty Spackle Tube
Charcoal Starter
Pots, Pans, Bowls, ETC.

Start by preparing the pilot light. Most Spackling guns have a small metal wire used to start the tube if it gets dried out. Unscrew this, and soak it in a small bowl of charcoal starter.

While that's soaking, create the ammunition canister. Prepare the empty spackling tube by hovering the butt end of the tube over a steaming pot of water. (The steam being the key component.) Stick the other end in a bowl of charcoal starter, and use pliers to pull the back of the tube outwards, thus sucking up the charcoal starter.

DO NOT LET AIR BUBBLES ENTER THE CANISTER. THE CANISTER WILL EXPLODE!!!!!!!!

Re-screw the pilot light onto the hull of the flamethrower, and load the canister. Light the pilot light, then point and shoot. As the charcoal starter flies out of the tube, it will pass over the pilot light and ignite.

Again, this is UNTESTED. I cannot construct tihs device without blowing my cover. Please reply with design flaws, as I'm sure there are a few.
